MeYou
MeYou

Meyou is the first all rapping, singing and dancing sensation to ever top the Japanese charts, while becoming the prototype for the 21st century superstar!

Imagine the raw sexuality of Lil' Kim, the lyrical skills of Gangstarr, the wicked humor of Eminem, the vocal purity of Christina Aguilara, the dancing of Janet Jackson, the fashion sense of Destiny's Child, and the sheer groundbreaking originality of Bob Marley - all in one hyped-to-the-max Asiatic performing phenom.

Nobody has so successfully synergized the wildly eclectic musical and fashion styles of contemporary global culture. Trend setting is the name of this game. Following the leader is not. . . .

Ill Again
Ill Again

Imagine a hip-hop group that plays LIVE! How many groups have 2 MCs and an upright bass player? What groups will claim a broad spectrum of influences such as Roots to John Coltrane to Steely Dan that results in music that includes elements of jazz, funk and rock with an hip-hop groove?

This 6-piece soul/funk "kollective" has done exactly that! They have brought their swinging, swaggering and funking to packed hip-hop crowds at events such as "Fresh Tracks" (Asian American Performance Arts event), numerous UCLA events and at Martini Lounge.

The producers of this event have been involved with various countless events throughout Southern California and Las Vegas with events that range from a few hundred to 10,000+ people at MGM Grand Hotel's Grand Arena. Since we are artists ourselves, we understand the need to have the best professional production values possible.

IN SUPPORT OF OUR YOUTHS, the event will be providing special passes to various non-profit organizations to allow them the opportunityi to witness prominent upcoming artists.

IN RECOGNITION OF 9/11, the event will provide a portion of the net proceeds to the Chinese American Planning Council (CPC)'s 9/11 Relief Service Center that serves NYC Chinatown's immediate and projected long lasting needs to the many victims. They are one of the largest providers of social services for Asian Americans in the United States.

The mission of this relief center is to assist Chinatown small businesses and residents to navigate access to Federal and private relief services. The lack of language skills, immigration status and complex family living and working arrangements discouraged many Chinatown residents from applying for aid and resulted in very high rejection rate of over 50% when application was made after 9/11.

PERSONAL INVITATION is extended to support the participating artists who have traveled from throughout the United States (Tampa, Houston, San Francisco, Las Vegas) and Asia (Japan and Hong Kong) to gather together on this one night.

Experience the rap, alternative, rap, rock, hip-hop, ethnic fusion and dance influences within their respective music. In addition, one will be able to witness trailers from various APA films and animation shorts.

Could this be the night where the collective musical voices from the APA communities will unite together as one.
